Several talented Year 9 students enthusiastically participated in the NZ Vegetarian Society’s “Think Kind” competition. Their task was to craft a compelling poster, deliver a thought-provoking speech, create a captivating video, or produce artwork, all with the goal of promoting vegetarianism. This creative endeavour aimed to foster awareness and encourage thoughtful reflection among students, focusing on the values of kindness – towards animals, our precious planet, and one another.
We are thrilled to announce Janaki K. has been chosen as a TOP 10 finalist and Nitai Caitanya S. has been recognised as a runner-up. On November 1st, World Vegan Day, the People’s Choice Award winner, determined by popular vote, will claim a $1,000 prize for their school.
