Junior & Senior Mathematics and Physics NCEA Levels 1 to 3
We are looking for an experienced, engaging and culturally responsive teacher, with a genuine passion for working with young people and the ability to contribute positively to the mathematics and science learning areas of our growing school. This role may include a Homeroom teacher role.
An ability and willingness to teach other subjects such as science, social sciences, and health is an advantage.
NCEA is new to our school and will be implemented in 2025. The successful applicant will be able to teach mathematics to NCEA Level 3 and be comfortable working as part of a team to implement the new NCEA standards. The successful applicant will be collaborative, organised, relational, and capable of catering to a wide range of learning needs, and have strengths in supporting students to develop their numeracy skills.
A willingness to contribute to the extracurricular life of the school is encouraged.
