Broad Foundations

Our intermediate programme combines specialist teaching with a broad and balanced curriculum, allowing students to experience a wide range of learning opportunities while building strong foundations for future success. Students engage in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education, Sanskrit, Śāstra, The Arts, and Technology, developing both subject knowledge and essential learning skills.

Connected Learning

Years 7 & 8 are a time of exploration and discovery. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, solve problems, and apply their learning in meaningful ways. Through our cohesive structured curriculum including practical projects, outdoor learning, cultural activities, service opportunities, and collaborative learning experiences, students experience how their learning connects to the wider world.

Future Ready

By the end of Year 8, students are well prepared for the opportunities and challenges of secondary education, equipped with the knowledge, skills, character, and confidence needed to thrive in Years 9–13 and beyond.

ENGLISH

Students explore rich, text-based learning through novels, literature, and a range of written texts, strengthening reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking while developing confidence as thoughtful communicators.

Mathematics

Students develop mathematical understanding through carefully sequenced learning, strengthening number knowledge, algebraic thinking, geometry, measurement, statistics, and problem-solving skills applicable to everyday life.

Science

Students investigate the natural world through observation, experimentation, and inquiry, developing scientific knowledge while learning to ask questions, analyse evidence, and explain scientific phenomena.

TECHNOLOGY

Students apply creative thinking and practical skills to design, make, and evaluate solutions, developing innovation, digital capability, and an understanding of technological systems and processes.

Social Studies

Students explore people, places, cultures, and history, developing an understanding of societies, identity, citizenship, and the ways people shape and respond to their world.

Physical Education & Health

Students develop physical skills, health knowledge, resilience, teamwork, and wellbeing through movement, sport, outdoor education, and learning that promotes healthy, active lifestyles.

Śāstra & Sanskrit

Students develop Sanskrit language skills alongside a deeper understanding of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava philosophy through the study of scripture, strengthening spiritual knowledge, character, and the application of devotional principles in everyday life.

Art, Music, & Drama

Students explore creativity and self-expression through visual art, music, drama, and performance, developing artistic skills, cultural appreciation, confidence, and collaborative learning.
