THE ENROLMENT PROCESS
Start by submitting an enrolment enquiry using the form linked above.
The school office will get in touch to arrange a time for you to come in and meet with the Principal. Interviews are an important step in the school’s final consideration of your child’s application. The interview is held by the Principal and also provides the opportunity to ask any necessary questions. An interview and tour of the school typically lasts around 45 minutes with both parents and the prospective student in attendance.
Having met with the Principal, your application for enrolment will be confirmed and our office administrator will arrange school visits for your child. These visits enable the teacher to assess the learning needs of the prospective student and for the student to experience the classroom environment.
After attending the enrolment interview the Principal will confirm enrolment.
New students are accepted for enrolment at the beginning of each school term throughout the school year.
MORE INFORMATION
More information about the school can be found in our Parent Handbook, including information about uniform, fees, and the bus service.
Preference and Non-Preference Enrolment
Preference enrolment: The Education and Training Act 2020 (section 26) states that “the children of parents who have a particular or general philosophical or religious connection with a State integrated school must be preferred to other children for enrolment at the school.” Parents may apply for preference enrolment and the decision is made using criteria stated in the integration agreement.
Non-preference enrolment: Parents may apply for non-preference enrolment if a student does not meet preference criteria. Non-preference enrolment is dependent upon vacancies and restricted to a percentage of the maximum roll as specified in our Integration Agreement.
